Daniel Woo has been acting and improvising for over 20 years. Originally from and primarily based in the San Francisco Bay area, he currently performs in Stranger Than Facts and the duo Purple Couch. Over the last two decades, improv has gone from being a part of his performance philosophy to being a life philosophy; one that has guided him through some incredibly trying times. When not translating improv skills into life skills, he’s still living for the stage — constantly improvising, exploring, and discovering characters, voices, physicality, performative themes and motifs — and finding ways to turn his joy of being an improviser into a performance to move and entertain audiences.
